All Cavern venues and tours are re-opening week commencing 17th May
Things look a little different in the world at the moment and we are implementing health and safety measures in accordance with UK Government and Health official guidelines. We thank you for your help and patience with observing social distancing to help us open safely. Please take a minute to read about our changes and what you can expect from your visit. Do I need to book to visit?
You do not currently need to book to visit Festival Restaurant however, if you would prefer to make a reservation you can do so on-line HERE or by telephone +44(0)151 236 1962 or email info@festivalfoodanddrink.com
Why do I need to provide personal details when I visit?
To assist and support the NHS Test and Trace process and in line with Government guidelines, customer contact information will be collected upon arrival. This data will only be made available to NHS authorities to help contain the spread of coronavirus should an outbreak be identified on our premises. It will not be used for any marketing by The Cavern or shared with any other third parties. For more information about these measures please contact DPO@liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk
Will I be allowed to visit if I am displaying symptoms of COVID-19?
We politely request any visitors planning to visit our venues who are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, stay at home to reduce the risk of infection spreading and come back when you’re feeling better. To help us with this, customer temperature checks will be taken before entering the venues.
How will social distancing be observed?
Our capacity at each venue is significantly reduced at this time to enable social distancing and you can expect to see the following measures in place.

Entrance and exiting flows will be politely managed on site by Cavern staff to ensure social distancing is observed.

Signage and floor markings will be displayed throughout the venues to remind customers to social distance.

Table service will be provided at Festival Restaurant.

Customers are encouraged to pay using a card and contactless where possible.

Hand sanitation units will be available upon entering and throughout the venues.
Will the toilets be open?
Toilets will be open and signage directing social distancing while using the facilities will be displayed. Regular checks and enhanced and rigorous cleaning routines will be performed, please be patient with us.
Can I sit outside the venues?
Outdoor seating on Mathew Street outside our venues is available to customers.
